PTFA January 2024 NEWS
Funds Raised and Spent!
Many thanks to everyone who attended last week’s AGM and to all those who have volunteered or attended an event. For the academic year 2022/23 we raised an impressive £7,323 of which £7,140 was donated to the school for a variety of projects including groundworks for the development of a wellness area, IT equipment and books.
At the meeting it was agreed to allocate further funds to provide new playground equipment, drama workshops, subsidise school trips, new headsets and books.
Match Funding
Did you know a lot of employers offer match funding for money raised for charities, which can really help boost the amount the PTFA raise and benefit all the pupils at the school?
Please ask your employer if they run a scheme and would be happy to match fund some of the money raised. For example, at the Christmas Fayre one employer match funded £500 and it was as simple as filling out a form. Please contact us if you need more information.
Valentines Disco

Donations for the playground
If you are having a clear out and have toys suitable for playing with at lunchtime – garages, cars, dolls, mats with roads on or small mats that roll away and can be used to sit on in the playground, please bring them into school.
Finally, if you have any games suitable for the ‘Reading Shed’ that’s being developed as part of the new Wellness area, such as good card games or board games, as well as books – please bring those in.
Thanks to everyone for your support and if you’d like to get involved, please email: csmpsptfa@gmail.com
